Modeling Mostly Done

All the models that I need are mostly done. There are some little touched that I want (light switches, bottles, tub, ect...). I've also decided to hold off on modeling the lights. I'm still not sure what type of lights will fit the scene best. The boiler is still being worked on for another class. Since it's the main focus of the scene I decided to make it more detailed.

So here's the scene so far. All together it's 7,788 Polys (15,323 Tris). If you take the boiler out it's 5,881 Polys (11,497 Tris). Let me know what you think!

EDIT: Looking at my scene again I noticed that my floor got rotated without me knowing. Some of the assets near the ground may look off. It's already fixed. :)

  1. Sorry I havn't responded in a few days. I'm in Toronto for the next two weeks. I'm not always close to a computer.. so my postings may be slightly delayed. The scene is looking really nice. I'm a little concerned with the scaling on your doorway at the top of the stairs as it looks a little too small compared to the stairs and railing. I would also try and put some wires hanging from the ceilings just to give a little bit more of a vertical element. Maybe have some coming around the pipes as well.. just to mix it up.. create a little chaos. I would take a couple planes as well and maybe use them to create some cloth or drapery in some areas. Maybe old rags or sheets that were placed in odd places around the room.. that will give it an organic feel as well. Mix up those boxes as well.. they look too straight.. and maybe open up one of those ladders and place a corded tool on top of it with the cord coming down the side. Maybe it was used for some ceiling repair or something. It's looking good dude.. just mix it up a little here and there ;)
