So I'm pretty sure I'm almost done with the stairs. The look and feel is coming out the way I want. Just a little more detail work and I'll call it done.
Your stairs are looking awesome. You have a lot of color in there and it really gives the appearance of wear. The paint can looks good as well.. maybe put a worn sticker on it and you should be good to go. The pipes have a great start.. just add some more color to break up the lines a little more and a grunge overlay or two and its good to go as well. With regards to the ladder, floor, hammer and breaker box I would try and achieve what you have done on the stairs to those. Add a couple more overlays and another complimentary color and they will really pop.
The textures on both your door and wrench look fairly solid as well. Right now your really just playing with two colors (red & grey)... maybe mix in another to make it stand out a little more. Try and mix in some complimentaries when you can and it will really help.
